Level Three – Maintenance Care
Patients choose this level of care when they want to take an active part in the prevention of present and future disease problems. However, they choose repair solutions that are more short range in duration. Patients choose maintenance care knowing that the dental treatment performed today will have to be repeated again in the near future. Therefore, this is usually a 3-7 year repair oriented treatment. This level of care is for patients interested in preventing future problems who choose to manage today’s needs in a less than an optimum manner.
